Government Buildings – A Partial List of Stone Panel Projects

Government buildings and projects are a specialty of ours at Stone Panels, Inc. government contractors regularly approach us to incorporate our StoneLite® into their projects for a number of reasons. For example, in the case of the U.S. National Institute of Health (USNIH) in Washington D.C., builders inquired about our Indiana Limestone lightweight panels for the purposes of a high-pressure blast wall. Government buildings like the Porter Neuroscience Building at the USNIH always have a higher concern than most building for being able to withstand blast impacts – a proven attribute of StoneLite®.

Similarly, the Naval Medical Center on the Portsmouth, Virginia naval base chose to incorporate our St. Hubert SLG and Indiana Limestone lightweight panels in order to re-clad the historic structure (founded in 1827). Government stone panel projects regularly involve preserving buildings of historical significance, so an especially durable and long-lasting material like StoneLite® is important.
