|TEMPLE UNIVERSITY – Science, Education & Research Center (SERC)||
Temple University selected StoneLite® Cenia limestone panels to grace the exterior of their new seven story SERC building. More than 46,000 sq. ft. of StoneLite® panels were installed in an open joint, exterior rain screen application. In addition to the exterior flat panels SPI also manufactured the highly complicated and detailed stair components including the cap.
The architectural team was able to visit our manufacturing facility in Coppell, TX to view the panels and determine the placement of panels through an onsite lay down.
|BRYANT UNIVERSITY INTERFAITH CHAPEL||
More than 7,800 sq. ft. of exterior Gascogne Beige limestone StoneLite® panels were installed on the new Interfaith Chapel. In addition to producing the natural lightweight stone panels, SPI also performed the installation.
Universities are frequent clients of SPI because of our ability to embrace traditional materials, technological innovation and productivity improvement. SPI can create brand new structures that complement historical landmarks and institutional traditions.

|QUINNIPIAC UNIVERSITY – HEALTH PROFESSIONS CENTER||
Qunnipiac University selected StoneLite® Stoney Creek granite in a flamed finish to adorn portions of their exterior facade including the upper level curved panels. Almost 6,800 sq. ft. of StoneLite® was installed including 163 panels curved on a 40′ radius fabricated at our manufacturing facility in Coppell, TX.
|UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA – EARTH SCIENCE BUILDING||
The University of British Columbia Earth Science Building created a unique exterior on the Ross Beaty Lecture Hall using 21 unique stones that were processed on SPI’s honeycomb substrate and installed in a book matching application. These massive polished slabs are not only decorative but are used as an outdoor learning laboratory for student studies.
|DREXEL UNIVERSITY – INTEGRATED SCIENCE BUILDING||
This multi-story open joint/rainscreen system required more than 36,000 sq. ft. of StoneLite® Indiana Standard Buff limestone with a honed finish fabricated into approximately 1,950 pieces to set.
