With each project that Stone Panels, Inc. is a part of, we continue to see new and different ways where StoneLite® panels are used because of time constraints, budgets, or other hurdles that project managers face. In the case of Bloomingdale’s flagship store on 3rd Avenue in New York City, the retailer needed to get their store\’s facade in tip-top shape for a major event: the premiere of HBO’s hit television show “Boardwalk Empire”.
Stone Panels, Inc. received the project order in May with a project completion deadline of September. Our StoneLite® panels are already a regular building material of choice for retail stores, but throw in a tight deadline for a major event and there was no room for error. Our StoneLite® panels were the obvious choice to get the Bloomingdale’s location ready to go for HBO’s premiere. The renovation and “Boardwalk Empire” premiere went off without a hitch and the project was a huge success for Bloomingdale’s and Stone Panels, Inc.
