About the project

Several areas of the Frank Gehry designed Philadelphia Museum of Art are clad in StoneLite® Glacier Buff limestone. The majority of the interior is traditional set dimensional stone however, areas where weight was a consideration boast StoneLite® panels. Our lightweight natural stone panels were installed on the column covers, fascia and soffit areas, folding doors, and the floating stair waist and stair soffits.

The soffit panels and stair soffits feature fleuri cut panels while the vertical panels are vein cut. The panels are fabricated with finished returns at all outside corners. Approximately 620 pieces were manufactured in our TX facility and shipped to the jobsite ready to install with our interlocking channel system.

Look for StoneLite® in Lenfest Hall, Forum Gallery, West Entry and the Retail areas.
